30 years

I wish I didn't do the things that make me now regret

i wanted to forget them so lit another cigarette

and thirty years later

nothing much has changed

except the fact that my addiction

is thirty years old

30 years old

thirty years ago

is when i started it.

now its up to me if wishes God that I quit

I surrender to my Lord and to Him I submit

i don't know how I'm going to do the right thing

all I know is that I'm going to die trying

it was 30 years ago

its now 30 years old

its now or never
